When you order products from Peléton ApS (“Peléton”), the following terms and conditions apply. This means that as a customer, you agree to and accept these general terms and conditions for all purchases made on www.peleton.dk.

Peléton adheres to current consumer protection laws and EU regulations regarding data protection and privacy, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can read more about our privacy policy here.

Delivery

Orders are delivered via courier service to a home address or parcel shop as specified in the delivery terms at checkout. The typical delivery time is 2-4 business days. In case of delayed delivery, you will be informed of the cause of the delay and provided with a new estimated delivery time. If you do not accept the new delivery time, you have the right to cancel the purchase.

Delivery of Posters

When the order consists solely of posters (i.e., without an added frame), your poster will be sent in a Peléton poster tube. Only some of our posters are kept in stock, but to avoid environmental waste, we only print certain products once they are purchased and ordered. The typical delivery time is 2-4 business days.

Delivery of Posters, Frames, and Glass

When you order a poster, a frame, and glass, or just a frame and glass, or just a frame, your order will be shipped in a Peléton poster tube for safe transport of frames.

Delivery Risk

Peléton assumes the risk for goods being damaged or lost during transport from our warehouse to you. In case of a return, you assume the risk for the goods being damaged or lost. Learn more about this under Return Policy & Returns.

Secure payment

Peléton ApS accepts payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, Mastercard, and VISA. Payment will only be charged to your account when the item is dispatched. All amounts are in DKK (Danish kroner) and include VAT. We reserve the right for price errors and out-of-stock/discontinued items. Additionally, we reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

To always guarantee secure payments, our payment pages are protected with SSL encryption, and all payment solutions are certified.

Return Policy & Returns

Peléton offers a 14-day return policy starting from the date you receive your goods.

If you wish to return items, they must be in the same condition as when they were delivered to you. The items should be returned in Peléton’s original packaging, including all accessories.

Handling of Received Product(s)

To verify that the items match your order, you may only handle and inspect them in the same way you would in a store. If you have handled the items more extensively than described above, you may be charged for the depreciation in value. Peléton applies full depreciation (i.e., the full value of the items) if returned goods are not in a resalable condition (as new items).

Important Information Before Returning

If you decide to return items, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs. As the customer, you also assume the risk of transport for the return. Peléton is not liable for any damage or loss of returned items during transit. We strongly recommend that you follow our instructions for returning items in their original packaging. Peléton’s packaging is designed to minimize the risk of damage during transport.

Cancellations must be notified to us no later than 14 days after the purchase, and from the date of cancellation, you must return the shipment within 14 days. The notification should be sent via email to kundeservice@peleton.dk. In your message, please clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation.

Refunds for Returns

In the case of an approved return, we will refund all payments received from you for the returned purchase within 14 days. Refunds for invoice payments will initially be made to the specified personal account. For card payments, the money will be refunded to the card (i.e., the account linked to the card) used for the purchase.

Right to Complaint

Peléton provides full replacement with a new product when a manufacturing defect is verified. It is important to carefully inspect the product upon arrival. If a product is damaged or otherwise defective upon arrival, a claim should be submitted as soon as possible after receipt. Contact customer service if you wish to file a claim regarding your product.

Reservations

At Peléton, we reserve the right for typographical and printing errors as well as potential color changes. We issue a disclaimer regarding any price changes, sales, printing errors, errors in product images, and/or inaccurate information caused by technical or human error. We reserve the right to make changes to prices and purchase conditions.

All visual information should therefore be considered as illustrations and cannot be guaranteed to depict the exact appearance and characteristics of the product. Peléton is not responsible for information on www.peleton.dk that originates from a third party.

Offers

As a general rule, we do not accept discount codes on already discounted products. Exceptions may occur by agreement with Peléton.

VAT and Customs

If you are located in the European Union, VAT is included in the product price. If you are located outside the European Union when ordering products from Peléton, you are responsible for paying any applicable VAT (as relevant within each jurisdiction). Peléton will not be held responsible for such VAT.

For orders outside the EU, customs duties may apply, for which Peléton is not responsible.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

If a dispute arises between you and Peléton, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly first to find a resolution. We will consider reasonable requests to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation, as alternatives to litigation.

These terms, including disputes regarding the existence or validity of the terms, are governed by Danish law, except for the international private law rules of Danish law.

Any dispute arising in connection with these terms, including disputes regarding the existence or validity of the terms, shall be settled in the Copenhagen City Court in the first instance.

Force Majeure

Peléton is not liable for delayed performance (including delivery and warranty measures) caused by circumstances beyond Peléton's control. Examples of circumstances beyond Peléton's control include, but are not limited to, labor disputes, power outages, lightning strikes, fires, atmospheric disturbances, enactment of laws, measures taken by public authorities, acts of war, pandemics, strikes, or similar circumstances, any power failure, disruptions at those responsible for hosting/servers where Peléton is located, and/or delays due to networks connected to the internet, etc.
